Welcome to popolini! We are an Austrian family business in the 2nd generation. Our main office is located in Vienna. We produce cloth nappies, sustainable baby and children’s clothing and home textiles.
With our own production facility in Europe, we guarantee short distances from producer to consumer and fair working conditions. Our products meet the highest quality standards and are OEKO-TEX® and GOTS certified.

Philosophy
We want to create a sustainable and clean world where our children can grow up healthy and active. Manufacturing products from organic textiles under fair conditions is our priority. This includes not only our production facility. We also take care that the materials we use are sustainably produced, and long transport routes are avoided as far as possible.
The needs of parents and their children come first in our product development. Over the past 30 years, thousands of critical customers have helped us to improve our products continuously. Due to the honest feedback from parents and midwives, many new developments have emerged.
Our product range is functional and fashionable. With our innovative new developments, we always respond to the wishes and needs of our customers, big and small. We combine the tried and tested with the new to improve our products down to the smallest detail.

Our products
popolini cloth nappies
We produce our cloth nappies under the name popolini. Since our foundation in 1991, we have been developing them continuously. We are happy to see that the first popolini babies now use our cloth nappies for their children.
iobio clothing
Our brand iobio stands for clothing and home textiles made from certified organic cotton, wool and wool-silk for babies and toddlers. It includes bodies, pants, pyjamas, sleeping bags and outdoor clothing made from boiled wool or wool fleece and much more.
Product range
In our stores and online shop you will find popolini cloth nappies and iobio clothing. You can also find products from other manufacturers that complement our range for babies, children, and mothers, e.g. bedding, breastfeeding aids, care and cleaning products, baby carriers, strollers, toys and much more.
Production
We produce in our sewing facility in Hungary. Our production facility, „Bamiko Kft.“ is located in Tiszalök, approximately 200 km east of Budapest, where our popolini and iobio products are crafted by hand. Over 70 employees implement our designs with care, experience and great attention to detail.
The geographical proximity to Vienna enables us to have direct, personal communication for developing and improving our products. Short transport routes lead to efficient and environmentally friendly logistics. We offer fair working conditions, fair wages and pride ourselves on combining quality and sustainability in Europe.
