swimwear fabric (quality 17)

The knitted swimwear fabric combines the best properties of polyamide and spandex. This soft material is stretchy, breathable and dries very quickly. For iobio and popolini products, we use OEKO TEX STANDARD 100, product class 1 certified swimwear fabric.


cotton elastic (quality 56)

The combination of cotton with spandex creates a particularly soft, cross-stretch knit, which is especially suitable for processing cuffs for baby clothes. Made from 96% organic cotton and 4% spandex. For iobio and popolini products, we use GOTS certified cotton elastic.


cotton fleece (quality 50)

Our cotton fleece is made of intensively raising a cotton knit fabric on both sides until the surface forms a dense fiber pile. It has a very soft, pleasant feel, but cotton fleece can be relatively high maintenance after washing. The fiber pile must be fluffed up again by brushing. For our iobio and popolini products, we use GOTS certified organic cotton fleece.


denim Soft (quality 51)

Denim Soft is a classic twill fabric, which is traditionally used for denim items. The typical diagonal surface structure is achieved by light and an indigo blue yarn. The added elastane content ensures better stretch and greater wearing comfort. We consciously refrain from using harmful washings for our items made of Denim Soft. It is made of 97% organic cotton and 3% elastane, which is robust and easy to care for. For iobio and popolini products, we use GOTS certified Denim Soft.


fine rib (quality 03)

Fine rib is a highly elastic and fine knit fabric. The rib structure of Jersey-type ensures high stretch and is created when knitting in alternating right and left stitches. Fine rib is particularly suitable for body-hugging garments such as bodysuits and underwear. It is easy to take care of and can be washed at higher temperatures. For our iobio and popolini products, we use GOTS certified organic cotton fine rib.


fine rib wool silk (quality 55)

Fine rib is a highly elastic and a fine knit fabric. The rib structure of this type of jersey provides high stretch. It is created while knitting in alternating right and left stitches. The delicate and precious wool-silk material combines the thermoregulating effect of wool with the unique softness of silk. This material is suited for baby and children’s skin, and it protects the skin in a natural way—70% organic wool and 30% silk. For our iobio and popolini products, we use GOTS certified fine rib wool-silk.


terry organic cloth (quality 07)

Our terry organic cloth is created by the knitting method in which an additional thread forms small loops. This soft, elastic terry is particularly absorbent because the loops on the surface absorb a lot of moisture. Our organic terry is made of 100% organic cotton. For iobio and popolini products, we use GOTS certified terry Organic.


terry soft (quality 12)

Terry Soft is made by the knitting method in which an additional thread forms small loops. This soft, elastic terry is particularly absorbent because the loops on the surface absorb a lot of moisture. With 15% polyester and 85% cotton, it is particularly durable and resistant to washing. For iobio and popolini products, we use OEKO TEX STANDARD 100, product class 1 certified terry soft.


knit wool and cotton (quality 33 & 34)

During the knitting process, the thread intertwined into itself with the help of needles. So a mostly elastic, soft fabric is created. The combination of right and left meshes allows for a wide variety of surface structures. Our wool and cotton knits are made especially for us in partner factories in Europe. For iobio and popolini products, we use OEKO TEX STANDARD 100, product class 1 certified wool and cotton knits.


interlock (quality 01)

Interlock is a special type of jersey. It is knitted on two rows of needles joined together, creating a right-to-right fabric that looks the same on both sides of the fabric. High-quality interlock is particularly soft, comfortable to wear and thicker than a single regular jersey. Due to its high durability, the interlock is particularly suitable for children's clothing. For our iobio and popolini products, we use GOTS certified organic cotton interlock.


interlock soft (quality 80)

This type of jersey is knitted on two rows of needles and joined together, creating a right-to-right fabric that looks the same on both sides of the fabric. Interlock is particularly soft, comfortable to wear and thicker than a single regular jersey. Interlock Soft is even more durable and wash-resistant due to the addition of 20% polyester, making it especially suitable for our cloth nappies. Our Interlock Soft nappies are thinner than the terry cloth nappies and are less bulky. Made from 80% organic cotton and 20% polyester. For iobio and popolini products, we use OEKO TEX STANDARD 100, product class 1 certified Interlock Soft.


lavalan™ (quality 41)

Lavalan™ is a dense, soft fleece fabric that becomes washable by mixing wool with Ingeo™, a polylactide (PLA) made from corn starch. It is warming, breathable and easy to care for; we use it mainly as a warming inner layer of home textiles. Made of For iobio and popolini products, we use OEKO TEX STANDARD 100, product class 1 certified lavalan™.


molleton (quality 24)

Molleton is a fabric made of 100% cotton, napped on both sides, making it particularly soft and absorbent. The polyurethane core inside the fabric layers makes this material an ideal mattress topper and wetness protector. For iobio and popolini products, we use OEKO TEX STANDARD 100, product class 1 certified molleton.


muslin (quality 99)

Muslin is a woven fabric famous for muslin nappies or summer clothing due to its softness and absorbency. The softly twisted yarns and loose weave provide the typical soft feel and crumpled look of this classic. Our muslin is made from 100% organic cotton. For iobio and popolini products, we use GOTS certified muslin.


nicky (quality 06)

Nicky is soft and has a velvety knitted fabric. The typical surface is created by the knitting method, in which a different thread forms small loops that are cut open after knitting. Nicky has a high wearing comfort and is a popular classic for baby clothes because of its soft surface. For our iobio and popolini products, we use GOTS certified organic cotton nicky.


poplin (quality 20)

Poplin is a classically woven fabric in plain weave. A slightly finer, heavily twisted yarn and a thicker, softer twisted yarn creates a very tightly woven fabric with a smooth feel. Our poplin is made from 100% organic cotton. For iobio and popolini products, we use GOTS certified poplin.


stay-dry material (quality 10)

This specially structured knitted fabric draws liquid through the base fabric into the interior through small loops. It does not release the wetness directly afterwards, even after prolonged wearing. This ensures a drier feeling when worn without any harmful chemical additives, especially for nappies and inserts. Our Stay-Dry material is made of 100% polyester. For iobio and popolini products, we use OEKO TEX STANDARD 100, product class 1 certified stay dry material.


sweat soft (quality 54)

Warm, soft and absorbent is the knitted fabric in which a special lining thread is incorporated on the inside of the fabric and then mechanically roughened. This makes the material feel smooth on the outside and soft as well as cuddly on the inside. By adding a small amount of elastane, we have increased the elasticity. Sweat Soft is durable, easy to care for, and ideal, e.g. pants or autumn/winter clothing. Our Sweat Soft is made of 92% organic cotton and 8% elastane. For iobio and popolini products, we use GOTS certified Sweat Soft.


teddy plush (quality 08)

Teddy plush is characterized by a particularly soft touch and fluffy surface. The dense, plush pile is created by the knitting method, in which a different thread forms loops that are then cut and napped. For our iobio and popolini products, we use GOTS certified organic cotton teddy plush


twill (quality 46)

Twill is a classically woven fabric characterized by its diagonal, dense surface structure (twill weave). It is robust and easy to care for, made from 100% organic cotton.


nappy cover material (quality 14)

Our nappy cover material is made of finely knitted polyester, made waterproof with a thin layer of polyurethane. The knitted polyester fabric gets hot coated with polyurethane, so it does not dissolve after several laundries. For iobio and popolini products, we use OEKO TEX STANDARD 100, product class 1 certified nappy cover material.


laundry net (quality 18)

Our laundry net is made of fine knitted polyester. The special structure protects nappies and clothes from strong abrasion during washing. For iobio and popolini products, we use OEKO TEX STANDARD 100; product class 1 certified laundry net.


woven terry (quality 31)

Our woven terry is a fabric in which an additional thread forms small loops. This structure makes the woven terry particularly absorbent, as the loops absorb a lot of moisture on the surface. The addition of 9% polyester in the base fabric makes our cotton woven terry particularly suitable for cloth nappies and bath textiles, as the material is durable and resistant to washing. For our iobio and popolini products, we use GOTS-certified woven terry made of 91% organic cotton and 9% polyester.


wool fleece (quality 09)

Fluffy and warming- our wool fleece is a knitted fabric made of merino wool, which is subsequently heavily napped on both sides. It is elastic, cuddly and especially suitable for the smallest, as it is not perceived as scratchy. Our wool fleece fabrics are produced in Germany and have naturally breathable and retain heat effectively. For our iobio and popolini products, we only use GOTS certified wool fleece made from organic wool (controlled organic animal husbandry), mulesing free.


interlock boiled wool (quality 58)

Interlock is the name given to a special type of jersey that looks the same on both sides of the fabric. It is knitted from soft merino wool compacted and felted in the fulling process using only water and mechanical assistance. The wool fiber can retain its natural advantages as unchanged as possible.


wool plush (quality 70)

The dense wool pile of this material is worked onto a sturdy polyester base, creating a fluffy, fur-like textile. Unlike lambskin, this fabric requires only wool and not all animal skin, making it a conscious alternative. Wool is breathable, water repellent, thermoregulating, and to a high degree self-cleaning. For iobio and popolini products, we use OEKO TEX STANDARD 100, product class 1 certified wool plush.


knitted boiled wool (quality 29)

This robust fabric is knitted from soft merino wool. Afterwards, it is compacted and felted using the fulling process with only water and mechanical assistance. This allows the wool fiber to retain its natural advantages as unchanged as possible. Woolwalk is particularly water-repellent, breathable and heat-retaining, and is ideal for outdoor clothing. For iobio and popolini products, we use knitted wool walk from 100% organic merino wool (controlled animal husbandry), mulesing free. It is certified by OEKO TEX STANDARD 100, product class 1.


woven boiled wool (quality 27)

This densely woven and afterwards milled wool fabric is breathable, water repellent, and to a high degree self-cleaning. No auxiliary agent other than water is used in the fulling process for our fulling fabrics. This allows the wool fiber to retain its natural advantages as unchanged as possible. For iobio and popolini products, we use boiled wool woven from 100% organic virgin wool (controlled animal husbandry), mulesing free. It is certified by OEKO TEX STANDARD 100, product class 1.


3D-Net (quality 15)

This technical textile never touches the skin directly and ensures enough air circulating inside the product to reduce sweat. For iobio and popolini products, we use 3D-Net made of 100% polyester, certified according to OEKO TEX STANDARD 100, product class 1.
